Definitely my favorite campground. Great sites and very family oriented. Just a great place to get away.

Great crabs ,fresh off the boat. Incredible wholesale prices too ! Oysters and clams also. Will deliver for parties and quantity.

Best family oriented campground. Its by far our favorite place to go to get away. Its quiet and peaceful and safe for the kids.

My family had a good time from Friday to Sunday at the Red Oaks Cottage. Likes: allowed early chk in, easy check in, friendly staff, spacious, waterfront, plentiful parking, orderly kitchen and bathrooms, all working appliances, lots of flatware, small grill functional (grill is charcoal), treed area, large front deck with picnic table, fire pit, A/C works great, full size fridge works great, plenty indoor seating. Coffee maker works well but the website doesn't say you need filters and real coffee. If I could knit pick it would only be that I was basically the chef so these things bothered me because cooks should be picky. There were several frying pans but only one good non-stick one period the other two were Teflon or something and some other guest must've used metal on it. You could feel on the surface the Teflon was picked off so it was impossible for me to cook in it. There are no pots. A pot is something you can cook stew or a seafood boil in and there aren't any. I was tempted tempted to throw them away but that is not my job. But they need to if they are unaware, I hope they read this and will go in that cabin and throw those pots away as they are representation of what they are offering you to cook in for your family. There were some spider webs under the beds. Be aware and take care of that and that also tells me that the cleaning job is from the waist up because if they had wiped down the legs they would have seen it. Someone left one of those floating tubes that the kids use in the pool hanging over the rail and with the pandemic, I'm not allowing my family to use that. there's no awning over the front door which would help if you're transporting your campground items into the house without getting soaking wet. There's no mat inside of the house, just a square of linoleum at the front door and nothing to wipe your feet on period you can't be too picky about how your carpet comes out if you don't leave people something to wipe them out off of their feet. the only reason I'm saying this is because if someone had let me in on some of these items it would have been helpful. We brought yard guard with us to spray the surroundings so that we could enjoy ourselves outside. Don't forget your deep woods OFF

We absolutely love coming here with our kids. It's great family fun. If i could live out here i would. The kids haven't stopped fishing and kayaking since we got here. We'll keep coming back.
