Old time family cooking.

Love this place! First time ever going here very old school. It's like an oasis because there's not much around this area. There are places to dine in and you can get food to go as well you can sit at the bar or they have Booth tables. They do serve breakfast all day and have a lunch and dinner menu as well as a kids menu I had the liver and onions dinner with mac and cheese and French fries the wife had a burger with bacon cheese lettuce tomato and pickles and my son had chicken nuggets and french fries. The liver and onions we're perfectly cooked liver was tender and the onions were sauteed well the brown gravy was good the french fries were crispy and the mac and cheese was good quality. The burger my wife had was exceptionally big for the price hand-formed Patty the chicken nuggets and fries my son had were almost McDonald's Style which he loved and surprisingly he ate every bite of it. Her dessert we had a slice of pie I had the coconut custard and my wife had pecan pie the pecan pie was really good very smooth the coconut custard pie was decent could have been sweeter but overall it was good

We moved from out of town into the area and our first restaurant experience was at horns Diner. The atmosphere is like eating at your favorite Auntie's house. The food was good and the people are really friendly. We saw all nationalities there every time we have gone. Satisfied every time
