I went tent camping in March and the grounds were beautiful and peaceful. There are a dozen covered places for RV's...most were filled. There are three large tent sites with firepits. The tent sites are on flat, level ground right on the river. There is no check-in station so call ahead to reserve your site. I talked to John and he was a gracious guy. Tent space was $25/night. Firewood was extra.
We were here in early October in our pop-up camper. Beautiful spot overlooking the river. Chilly at night, so glad to have electric hookup! Caught one big trout! We’ll be back!
The hospitality is second to none. The view and scenery is better than any campground is ever stayed at. I can't wait to go back in better weather.

What a great place to kick back and enjoy nature! Beautiful surroundings! Named appropriately, PEACEFUL! We watched the woodpeckers on the tree next to us and the deer in the field while enjoying our morning coffee. Thank you Fran for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!
