Another spot to check out in Va. Absolutely delicious! I got an appetizer called the Rail with my choice of calamari bone in habanero mango wings ]potato skins and cheese sticks. I ordered the tasty short rib sandwich. Another night I got the Rail again with potato skins fried mushrooms jalapeno poppers and cheese sticks.. I ate there 2x in one week. I'd say it was good. My sister's classic burger looked delicable.

Had the Burger (with an egg, ham etc...), fries and a small guilt relieving salad. All three were awesome. Wait staff was friendly and great atmosphere. Will be going back soon!

The Rail is usually great, but today 10/9 Service was lousy! Went at 3pm. Only customers although several staff was was sitting and talking. 2 of us ordered. 45 minutes later a couple more single customers had come in. Finally we got up to leave. The girl said our food was now ready, so did we want take out. My husband said yes, and paid. They charged full price, even for the drinks, whick I never touched mine. I've ordered delivery and received it faster than today's food. Then my nachos grease had soaked through the chips by the time we got home. Not a take out foods, and I had no drink at home. So for my meal I had to find something else to eat. The whole point of stopping at The Rail, was convenience and always great service.nToday was BAD and EXPENSIVE!

Ate at The Rail Bar and Grille on a trip to Covington. We were looking for a good local spot to eat. We had pulled into the lot of a couple different establishments, second guessed them, and left. We ended up at The Grille and met Wenna. She was awesome! She had great recommendations on the food and what to get. She was very friendly and anticipated our needs. Great food and great service. Highly recommend.
