Bought a chocolate coffee cake with a huge chunk of green mold planted deep into the cake. Found out after the first bite straight into the mold. Manager gave me a refund, replacement of my liking but not a single apology or at least a bit of concern. I was very easy about the situation and recommended that the manager reports to the company where they order these cakes since mold could seriously poison someone and even kill. Manager was very tough with me in defense of the company sending these frozen cakes to the Milk House Market. Said one cake with mold is not the reason to start the allert. The truth is, if a frozen product has mold of this size it was made from expired and/or moldy ingredients. Milk House Market management absolutely must raise a concern with US food, Market's food supplier. Else, the management is willingly putting their guests' and customers' health at a great danger.nI have bought food several times at the Market. Sandwiches were delicious! But after new experience with the manager deffending and not willing to report a serious chunk of mold inside the pastry I am afraid to buy food there.
We love their eggnog and custard drinks. Awesome Coffee Frappuccino. Very fresh sandwiches.
Rude! Not everyone is from the same world! If you're not a visitor with money, don't stop here. Nasty attitude!
Local place to buy wine and some other goodies. Not a wide selection of local production. Adorable property.
Great spot to pick up a sandwich and snacks before heading out on a hike. Sandwiches were tasty, fresh and a good size. There is an area to enjoy your meals outside on site. COVID safety measures were in place (staff wearing masks, complementary masks and hand sanitizer at the entry, physical distancing floor markers). There's also beer, wine, sweets and gifts available for purchase.
