A few minutes drive from Warm Springs - amazing views. The nature preserve has a well maintained trail and really informative signs on the trees. It was cold and snowing (on April 1st!) so we didn’t walk very far but it was worth a visit. It’s an easy and family friendly trail.

If you want an incredible view, pull in this place after dark. The view of the stars at night is spectacular! The Overlook itself is a pretty nice place to stop for some pictures. It was too late at night to try the hiking trail, so I can't give an opinion on that. My recommendation is definitely to check this place out!

Great views. Well marked trail with fairly smooth terrain until you get to the actual overlook. There is a nice set of stairs and platform with railing to enjoy the view.n2.5 mile round trip from the parking lot.

Very easy trail. Would not categorize it as a hike. The end of the trail is a loop. Right will take you straight to the lookout and left will take you around along the ridge and eventually to the lookout. I wish we had known this because we went left and when we got to the “top”, I was disappointed because so many trees were blocking the view. But we continued on and eventually came to the lookout.nnThe beginning of the path has about 10 markers spaced out that explain some of the trees and other plants that grow in the area. There are also historical facts down in the parking area that are worth a read.

Busy during the fall as expected. Should be one way entrance and exit to avoid congestion and possible fender benders. Recommend getting there very early. Lunch time and later gets pretty busy.
