We have lived in Barnstable Village for 20+ years and use the PO’s services daily. Every single interaction has been positive and efficient. The employees are welcoming and warm and the Post Office has become the hub of the village.nnCape Cod hosts international tourist all summer and is home to a large retired population. As a result, many of the PO’s customers are elderly or have language challenges. I have always been so impressed by the gentle and kind way that the postal workers treat their customers. They are, quite simply, the best.
Having the staff here makes it an even better location to live in. They’re nothing but friendly, informed and resourceful. I give these guys 5 stars and would do so endlessly!
this is an excellent post office. forget the one star review.nni use this post office on a weekly basis and the clerks are always cheerful and remind me i am enjoying the charm of a small new england village. i have never have had to wait long in line.nwhether you are local to the area or just need the post office for services, this is a wonderful location.
Its a 50/50 gamble when I have to use this Post Office.nnRobert, one of the people who works the counter, has got to be one of the slowest, most difficult, people I've ever met.nnIt's like he enjoys making the experience as painful as possible. And unfortunately, I think he works every hour the Post Office is open.nnShirley is one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with at any Post Office.
