As far as I’m concerned, this is the best laundromat in Barnstable. I’ve used it for over 20 years and it’s always been reliable, but much better lately with all the new equipment. The driers are fast and I’m in and out with several loads in an hour and a half. Grew up in this neighborhood and let me just give you a heads up... *do not leave the premises while your clothes are in a machine.* terrible idea and honestly, it’s quick... why risk it. I’ve had my clothes stolen in the city, never here, but I see a few complaints, so I don’t take my eyes off of my clothes. Parking is tight, but not awful. The staff is very nice and they’ll help you when needed.

This place used to be a great place to do laundry. Now its horrible. Alot of their washers are broken and there's never any available. Same goes for all the other Hyannis laundromats. From my experience, they have been run down and a waste of precious time waiting for washers and dryers to open up to use and when you actually get to use them they break on you and waste even more time. I don't know bout y'all but I do not have any extra time in my life to waste sitting around a laundromat all day. I guess Ill have to drive out of town to find a better one, if there is actually one.

I've been using The Laundry Room for over 7 years and always find it to be great. A lot of the old machines have been replaced and the staff --- Vivi, Alini and Maria are always helpful.nnSome of the customers forget this is a laundromat and not a day care service or children's playground and you do sometimes have to suffer screaming kids rushing around while their parents ignore them.nnI usually go in the evening and so I see the attendant cleaning machines and meticulously sweeping the floor.nnIt's the nicest laundry in the area.nnI highly recommend.nnAnd as for stolen clothes. You should be in the building when you're doing your laundry. But last time week I was there when one lady had left her expensive jacket behind and she was vividly upset about the loss. They found her jacket and kept in the back.
