Joe finished a basement for us 20 years ago. He is an excellent problem solver and there's really nothing he can't do. We had him build a toy closet under our stairs and he built a beautiful custom bar and laundry room. Fast forward 20 years and he just completed finishing a basement in our current home. He was able to match the style of the rest of the house so everything is coherent. He also built a roof over our existing patio as a separate project. He did a superb job on that as well. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone seeking professional, timely, quality work done right. He's honest, smart, and one of the nicest guys I know, hands down!

My experience with Level Best Carpentry over the past 20+ years has included projects large and small including demolition of an attached garage to converting the space to a beautifully and fully functional finished basement, window replacements including ceiling windows, recessed lighting, drywall repair and replacement, television mounting and cable management and more home repairs than I can count.nnJoe Reif is an expert in his craft and brings more than 30 years of growing carpentry experience to work with him every day and whether his objective is a repair, build or create a custom project, the end-product has always been the same – masterful quality and long lasting.nnMost recently, as a Christmas gift to my wife, Joe was able to coordinate a one-day project to cut, fit and mount back-splash to my kitchen walls including replacing two sections of drywall. Joe and Rob worked from 5 minutes after my wife left the house until about a half hour before she came home. The surprise went as planned. Thank you again Joe.

Joe is an excellent problem solver. I showed him a photo of the fireplace mantlepiece I wanted, and he was able to adapt it to work in my particular situation, and make it look great. He is accommodating, easy to work with, and a meticulous craftsman. I would hire him again without hesitating, and I highly recommend him to anyone that appreciates beautiful carpentry work.
