My fiancé and I just started a membership three weeks ago and we are hooked! The staff is so sweet and know what they’re doing. It is really easy to ask questions and get clear answers. Classes are later at night so we are able to work, have dinner and still go to class after. I would recommend this to anyone looking for self defense skills, a quality work out and a family like feel of a work out group.
This is a fun and supportive place to train where the instructors make everyone feel welcome. Miss Sarah has an amazing teaching style using humor and encouragement and managing to make success possible for anyone even if you don’t bring any experience. They have worked tirelessly during the pandemic to keep teaching and training available. It’s an excellent workout and improves your self confidence. Thank you ABD instructors!
My youngest daughter said that she really likes the school because they help develop skills by building up to them. Starting small and building. The instructors make the classes and the experience fun and enjoyable while still being focused on discipline and holding the kids accountable. They also provide different opportunities outside of the normal class times like monthly Parent Night Out activities for the kids to have fun with their classmates.
My daughter and I have trained here for 5 years. There’s no mind/body workout quite like it. Very empowering and motivational ... and you will sweat! I’m personally not looking for self-defense training, but I’ve learned it along the way while getting an incredible workout! Instructors are top-notch.
Both of my young children take classes here, one says, “he loves kicking the wave master” and the other says she loves that she can do so much more than karate like, “birthday parties, parent night out, day camp and more.” They both have grown socially and physically. The instructors empower students to be responsible, make the right choice and how to handle difficult situations like bullies. They meet the student where they are but also hold the student accountable. Highly recommend.
