The Executive Director of the Housing Authority willfully obstructs fire apparatus during active fire scenes. She was asked MULTIPLE TIMES and refused. The Ladder Company was delayed in performing their ventilation assignment due to her refusal to move her vehicle. She stated several times “I’m not moving until I know what’s going on”. Not sure how we could have explained any clearer. It wasn’t until the police arrived on scene to get her to comply 4-5 minutes later. Extremely unprofessional and she should be terminated from her position.

In response to Mr. Chamberlain's erroneous recap of events, the executive director was trying to ask you where the tenant was that was involved in the fire so she could make sure the family was ok and to begin the relocation process so that the family was not standing outside in the cold all night. Contrary to what you reported to the Item, Red Cross was NOT involved at all in the relocation of this family. Instead of answering her, you screamed in her face multiple times. She did not block anything and moved her vehicle promptly. The only one that acted unprofessionally and should be relieved from their duties is Mr. Chamberlain.
