Ascend Nightclub

I've tried to go to Ascend a number of times and enjoy it. When LOUDPVCK, UZ, or most recently Boombox Cartel played I was there.nAs music venue it's subpar but passible. But I will never go there again after my last experience.n$12 gin and tonic. Fine, I'm deciding to drink there.nCan't dance near the stage because a table 6 feet over have reserved it for service? That sucks but I guess there's still the main floor.nnGirlfriend gets assaulted there. Yup.nnJust don't go. It's a awful place for awful people.

Security was extremely rude to my girlfriend and I when we accidentally brought our hats. They made no attempt to work with us to find a place to keep them or let us put them with our coats in coat check and the head of security got in my face like he was going to fight me when I asked. I will never return to this venue and I recommend the same to everyone. Terrible terrible security staff, rudest and worst I have ever encountered - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
