Dr Smith is not a very good doctor. Poor medical treatments and advice with a lousy personality. His Physician Assistants (PA-Cs) and Nurse Practitioners (APRN) are great! Beware, he is also the admitting physician at Bluegrass Community Hospital. No matter who you are seen by in the ER, who is normally a very good doctor, Dr Smith will be the one treating you and writing orders. Plus he takes a long time to come in to see you. Personally I will go to Baptist Health in Lexington ER of I'm very sick and think I might need to be admitted.

I have been going here for over a year and have seen Dr..Sammy Nichols, most of the time. I have also seen Jared, Elizabeth and Tonya. I have no problems with the providers but the office staff is less than desirable. It is next to impossible to get them to answer the phone and they are extremely SLOW in relaying test results and returning messages. If they had a better office support staff I could have given them a higher score.

I've been calling and leaving messages for 2 weeks. I'm just trying to set an appointment. No one answers and obviously doesn't listen to their messages or follow up.

I feel safe and supported here. Staff is tentative and patient. The female doc is so caring, thoughtful, and accomodating to me. I'm so happy there's a doc in town less than 5 mins from home that accepts my health insurance.

We see Jared and Elizabeth and they both are very professional and provide great service!
