Molokai General Hospital

THE desk of nurses that man the surgery area were awesome also... we sat close to them so we saw many interactions... friendly, helpful, and just a pleasure to see people that seem to enjoy their work a great deal.

I was very nervous about having such close contact with another person where I knew the radiology tech was going to have to get close to me. I expected her to be wearing a medical mask and face shield. She had neither.

Our experience is office visit only, not hospital departments. Our visit was to the Center for Advanced Pediatric Care, to see a specialist, so my review is for our experience in this facility, specifically. My son was not inpatient, nor emergency, nor surgery, etc.,

We are staying at Molokai Shores, and yesterday went out for a walk and I got bit by a dog!nFortunately it was superficial bite but I did need a tetanus shot. The staff at the hospital were excellent.nOnly had to wait a few minutes while filling in the forms, then right in.

We were on a tour of Molokai when one of party fell and broke her ankle. The tour guide called for assistance and within 10 minutes EMS was there and took us to the Molokai General Hospital. The people and the service were simply outstanding! Everyone there was friendly, spoke to us and went out of their way to be helpful. Mahalo for being a super group of people!!!!
