Franciscan Medical Clinic - Bonney Lake

After reading reviews about Dr. Gao, I was honestly not sure what to expect.nHowever, I think he's great. He's very attentive, and took time to go over how my body functions, and what causes the symptoms I'm experiencing. Also, he ordered some preventative testing, which no other doctor has bothered doing, even though there are some genetic conditions that I am more susceptible to. Big thumbs up for that.nI've been searching for a new PCP for the past few years, and safe to say, I will probably be sticking around much longer.

I typically don’t leave reviews but this place is so horrible and their billing department is worse so I feel like people should know. My husband and I went in for Covid tests in November however they coded both of our visits differently so one was covered by insurance and the other wasn’t ($170). I spent 4 hours on the phone with them and insurance over 5 days and here we are 5 months later and they still can’t tell me why both appts (which were the exact same) were coded differently and they won’t recode one of them so it’s covered by insurance. At this point I don’t care about the $170 but every time I called their billing department I got a different person who didn’t know anything. 2 of them admittedly were consulting a manual the whole time. I have never had this much trouble with a company and will never go to Franciscan again.

Dr. Miller and the staff at Franciscan Orthopedic Associates - Bonney Lake were fantastic. I was very impressed with their promptness and high level of patient care with regard to tending to my injury. Highly recommended!

The reception ladies are very rude . Herd you around like cattle. The doctors are nice but don't take a lot of time with you.and they wont let a loved one come into your visit with you which is wrong on so many levels. And you call yourself catholic based huh what would God say to you people that are supposed to be helping people insted you look down on us. Not happy with their procedures at all.

Communication is key, the 1st floor receptionist checks you in and somehow the information gets lost while riding the elevator to Dr.Gao’s office. Then Dr.GAO’s office sends referral to PT but again the information gets lost on the ride up the elevator. I’ve reached out to the clinic manager and she just had Dr.Gao’s office call me which SURPRISE ended with more confusion.nnDr.Gao, I recommend seeing a different doctor.nPT was/is fantastic.nKim in reception is the only helpful person in the building.
