We had a great time at this cabin. We were there during the winter months. The surrounding area right outside the windows is beautiful. You can enjoy the beauty of the area right from the cabin. It is right off the highway for convenience, but down a few streets and far enough that you don't feel like you are close to a highway at all. The cabin itself is great - just what I want in a cabin. Plenty of space for the whole family. We had 1/2 of the family watching a movie, 1/2 playing board games at many times during the stay. We also played an epic game of hide and seek. The kitchen is fantastic and there is plenty of room in the bedrooms. It is cozy and a great place to stay.

This place is great! It’s a wonderful spot to stay while you are out exploring the Island Park/West Yellowstone/Yellowstone Park area. The cabin is much bigger than the photos would lead you to believe. It has a full-size, well-stocked kitchen (bring your own food), a dining table that can hold eight. The family/TV room has two large, comfy couches, plenty of space to inflate an air mattress, and a great flat screen TV. The TV is smart, so you can use it to watch Netflix, Disney+, etc. Speaking of connections, the WiFi is fantastic! You can watch TV and surf on a couple of phones with no trouble at all. The three bedrooms offer plenty of space for a family and the beds are all comfortable. There’s a wood burning fireplace, a gas fireplace, and electric heaters in every room, so you never need to be cold! The first night we made the mistake of turning on both the gas fireplace and the floor heaters - it was so hot we had to open a window!nnWe were there during February. There was a ton of snow! While there we went to see grizzly bears and wolves (at the Grizzly and Gray Wolf Discovery Center, not around the cabin). The next day we chilled around the cabin, playing games and watching movies. Our last day was spent snowshoeing at the Harriman State Park - they have free rentals and a recommended $5 trail use fee. All in all, we loved it and will definitely be back!
