Wallowa Lake Tramway

Beautiful views from the top. Several viewpoints at the summit with an optional walk towards the East Peak. Ticket prices are pretty high. Beware of an extra fee if you purchase online. The Wallowa lake tramway just celebrated its half century anniversary. It was built by Swiss in 1969! Staff was very efficient and friendly.

So there is an awesome tram that takes you to the majestic peaks of the Oregon alps. A short 15 minute ride up and you can be delighted with majestic views while sipping a beer at the mountain cafe. A must do event if you're visiting here. A little expensive for the whole family but take your walking shoes and do the small holes at the top. Spend time enjoying this great place.

I grew up in this neck of the woods & now I bring my little family to do all the fun activities.nThe tram is tons of fun & hopefully I will be seeing you all soon again.

Wow this place is amazing! So many views up there! Wildlife is really cool to see! Lots of stuff to see & do up there also! Mountain view are amazing!
