If you've never been here, go. Less than 30 min. From CDA, and here's the story: A cathedral built in the wilderness using the materials at hand. An interesting story about an interesting chapter in history. Sad and cool at the same time.

Such a sacred and beautiful site. The history of this mission is incredible. I have been here many times and always leave in awe of its beauty

We took a friend from Colorado who was visiting. One of the State employees was inside the church and shared lots of info and took his time. Was wonderful!

So a church made from no nails but instead only wooden dowels? Yea.. craftsmanship at its finest. Idaho claims the oldest church in the state and we would have never guessed it! Very interesting history and nice outlooks!
