Great, small campground on the North side of Payette lake. First come first serve, so head up early Thursday!

My favorite place for a quick get away. You can drop right into the river for a paddle. If you are out early morning or around dusk you'll be treated to lots of wildlife. I have seen deer, moose, golden eagles, osprey, herons, beaver, otter, and all kinds of fish and birds. Motorized boats not allowed on the river but there is lake access at North Beach right up the road.

Great place, reservations fill up fast. Nice stocked fishing pond.

Campground was in great shape, the water is cold but crystal clear, has a wonderful large sandy beach right off the river. 2017
