Wayne Community Health Center

Was traveling & staying in the Bicknell area temporarily, had a health issue & was made to feel like one of the locals. The staff, from the receptionist, the nurses, pharmacy staff to the doctors, a fear was quickly changed into confidence, & I was treated warm, & made comfortable, & the doctor seemed focused on me as a patient, & was not only seeming to listen to me, but proved to be once everything was said & done, & everything the doctor said he would do, unlike every other experience I’ve had in Salt Lake, he actually had completed quickly & completely. I didn’t have to call back to remind them of something they’d forgot, bc it all had been completed before I left the clinic. Such a great experience, I’ll drive hours to have my medical needs met here at Wayne Comm. Health & the professionals keeping that place so great!!

While my experience with staff has been enjoyable and everything has gone mostly smoothly, I’ve found on multiple occasions that the doctors here don’t like to read the things that come across their desks, and their communication back to patients is very poor. The office received my required release form the day I sent it, and I waited nearly two weeks before having to call in myself, just to find that my doc had thrown it out and hadn’t bothered to let me know. It’s now been four weeks and nothing has changed.I try to be really patient, and I understand staff is doing everything they can, but I shouldn’t have to wait over a month to receive a prescription that can drastically improve my condition. Recommendation? Make sure your doc is full time if you get sent to a doc you don’t know, and make it clear beforehand that you need communication and updates, or else you won’t get them.

Wayne community health clinic has been amazing. I have had extensive dental work done through them and they have worked very closely with me to make sure a proficient plan of treatment was established and that the long term results would work for me. Very knowledgeable staff and exceptionally friendly receptionists. I was able to get thousands of dollars of work done for a severely reduced cost which saved me a lot of money with no reduction in effective treatment. I would strongly recommend Wayne community health clinic for all your dental needs. Thank you all who have helped me. My quality of life has improved dramatically and I am very grateful for this community resource.

WOW!nnI was camping in an area of Utah to see the canyons and had a health issue. Everything was an hour or more from where we camped so I selected this center based on reviews. If every community had access to a facility like this, healthcare in the US would not be the sore issue it's become.nnFrom the knowledgeable office person who made the process of getting acclimated a pleasure, to the nurse, to the doctor and the great folks at the on site pharmacy, this place was exemplary. It was an honor to witness a building full of professionals who are clearly playing at the top of their game.

We took our one year old son here for sudden pain in his arm which turned out to be nursemaids elbow. The wait time was reasonable and the nurses and staff were wonderful with our son. The facility was very clean and well managed. I’m thankful this place was close to where we were staying outside of Capitol Reef.
