Ahrens Memorial Library

The library itself is good, and clean. Most of the library techs / staff members I've encountered are very sweet and go out of their way to help. I stopped by in the morning recently and there was a lady and she was super aggressive for no reason. My friend said she's always like that, but I'd never seen her there before. She made me so uncomfortable! I will drive off base from now on. ud83dude14

I don't usually do reviews on here, but I noticed that someone had posted a 1-star review about this library, which is absolutely absurd. Because this library and the people working there are just amazing.nAnd the reasoning for the 1-star review, you may ask? Because this government building was closed on a federal holiday. Wow. Well, aside from the obvious assumption that this would likely be the case, I know for a fact that the library had already posted signage about them being closed on the upcoming federal holiday. Unfortunate? Sure. One-star worthy? Absolutely not.nAgain, I do not typically like to get involved when people are trolling others on the internet, but in the future, try to use some form of common sense, rather than dragging a wonderful library's reputation through the mud over your own lack of foresight.nKeep up the great work guys! My family loves your building and all you do for the community!

Lisa Collins and the gang are wonderful and provide so many services and events. You don't find this many libraries that are so enthusiastic and passionate about their craft. I am either there or reading books from the online library every day. Give yourself and your family the gift of reading!

Over five websites say it's open Monday through Thursday at 0900 - 1900 and THE FRONT DOOR says the same and yet it's closed on Monday?
