Esther Bone Memorial Library

It’s been a unsettling summer with the pandemic, but through all the changing rules and availability disruptions, the library staff has done a magnificent job providing its patrons as much access as possible to the books that, at least for me, helped me stay sane through some tough, lonely times. Great attitudes with a ready smile. My only complaint is the lack of a drive-up book return box. I am disabled with a neurological disease and walking can be both challenging and dangerous. I’ve lived all over the country and have NEVER known a public library that did not offer appropriate accommodations for its disabled patrons. Surely a drop off box similar to a blue mail box could be placed on a convenient corner in the large lot that could allow drive-up book returns for the those of us falling under the ADA. I hope the Board will consider one for early 2021.

I came in needing to print and scan something that was time sensitive. Josh was very helpful and professional. Thank you.

Found the book I needed! When I asked how many books you could check out they said 30. I thought that was an incredible amount.

Pick up only for books but staff is very accommodating.
