This place has some insanely good tacos. I didn't get a chance to try anything other than a few different kinds of tacos and they all blew me away. A small little local spot in the middle of a beautiful downtown area where there is much to do and see within walking distance. They serve alcohol here as well and have always been supremely welcoming to me when I came in.

A hot dog for lunch or dinner?! Yep. The Carolina Dog was delicious and incredibly filling. It definitely could be shared if you weren't looking for food coma or had a big appetite. Fries were good as well. I definitely will be back. PS It's Take Out Only right now. So plan on calling ahead your order and just wait in your car, or else there are little tables on the side of the building for you to enjoy your food at.

We had the jerk chicken tacos, And the barbacoa tacos. They were FANTASTIC the flavors were spot on, the food was served promptly and with a smile and very fresh. Best Tacos Ever. I would have given 6 stars if I could. The root beer is the best I have ever had.

Slope and Hatch is a unique (in a good way) taste of Glenwood Springs. How many restaurants do you know that have two primary menus.... Tacos and Hot Dogs? This place does not serve just any hot dog or tacos. How about a Fried Shrimp Po Boy Taco? Or a Carolina Dog with Pulled Pork with Chipotle and Bourbon BBQ Sauce? Try the Chorizo Super Fries. They are amazing! The location is also compelling. Order your food and sit under the downtown bridge.

Absolutely phenomenal food for a excellent price!!! Can’t wait to come back.nnUpdate 2021- These are still the best tacos I’ve ever had and I make and eat a lot of different tacos. Also I live 3 hours away and crave these regularly... which is a bit of a problem since I only come to Glenwood once or twice a year.nnIf you don’t know which ones to try, try the Calamari it tastes like a island tropical vacation or the Cubano which tastes like sophisticated bbq.
