I was in so much pain after surgery. I debated on going in, I was scared that I was just too sensitive and didn't want to bother.nnI prayed about it and I finally called my neighbor to take me to the ER. I've had terrifying experiences at other ER's.nnTo my suprise, I was completely calm by the kindness of the staff and appreciated that they actually listened to what I was saying.nnDr. Halternan and RN Toklar, saved my life by draining the fluid buildup so I could walk again. These two, plus the radiologist, Sarah, who came in immediately, on her day off, with a positive attitude, and was SO gentle!nud83dude4fud83dude4fud83dude4fnnTheir bedside manner probably helped more than anything. God bless these people and what they do for our community.nnI just couldn't be in pain any longer and now, it's much more manageable. I could even bear weight for the first time after my ACL reconstruction. (1 week and doing great, now!)nnJustoJust thave these kind of professionals, locally, when it really counts, is quite the Godsend. ❤ufe0fud83dudc4fud83dudcaf

I went in due to severe coughing and fatigue. Due to Covid, they took great precautions. My nurse, Charlie, was an excellent caregiver, and Dr. Reynolds expertly called my diagnosis. All the staff I came in contact with were kind and professional.

if there was a minus star this place would rate that, there is not a drop of empathy in the entire place , left 90 minutes in a room with an infected gallbladder and gall stones, when i told the nurse that i had ptsd and wasn't doing well closed in that room, her reaction PFFTT, , the blond receptionist is in the wrong job, after all their complaints, you would think they would do something, the bottomline is this , the er is a money maker , they dont give 2 sh#@ts about you personally, they must pay minimum wage , because the staff at the ER are incompetent, vincent ginardi

Today is the 28th of July. The seem understaffed, and no one is comforting or smiling.nThere is one nurse on that has horrible bed side manner- not kind- the check in clerk hasn’t smiled once and the whole thing is not a place I would want to come to seek comfort or seek care.nI know they are busy - and I know their job is hard-nBut they chose it.nIt makes me sad that the ER division can ruin my whole feeling about this place. I have dealt with others in the hospital outside of the ER and did not experience this at all.nI am a local and will never seek ER care here if I have an option.
