Property details on their website are very accurate. You’re in for a surprise when you see just how beautiful the surrounding scenery is. You will also enjoy the fact that the people working their along with the owner are very helpful and hospitable. In addition, The hotel is on the way to Wolf Creek Ski mountain. Treat yourself to a well deserved stay at a place that is a breath of fresh air. And tip your bartender ud83dude09
Rooms were clean, staff super friendly, enjoyed the hot tubs after snowboarding! I left my purse in the room, they very quickly sent it to me via UPS, nothing was missing, much appreciated!
We highly recommend! As most of the locals know, us Texans head to the mountains to escape the summer heat and this place was very cozy, quiet and in a breathtaking beautiful setting just outside of the main Pagosa Springs town center. Staff was nice and our 2 bedroom cabin was very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and then star gazing at night and tons of trails nearby. Thanks again!
The staff here is so nice. We made an appointment for the Hot tub late evening, sitting under the stars alone. It was amazing and we could see the milky way. Great location. We would stay here again.
Read the comments posted in response to unhappy guests before booking. Combative, dismissive, or passive aggressive commentary has no place in the hospitality industry, whether or not the guest was in the wrong. We booked under another family member's name (not to be discredited) and were disappointed to experience this passive aggressive behavior in person despite efforts to be polite and understanding in the process of solving small issues with our stay. COVID is certainly reason to have patience but we essentially paid three times the price of a typical motel room for almost the same accomodations. Furthermore despite the lodge's claims of concern for COVID/reasons for limited amenities, the clerk entered our room unmasked which seems counterintuitive. I don't relish posting negative reviews (this is my first ever) because I've been on the other side of the service industry and in small business, but that being said, I know what it takes to provide a good experience. :/
