I feel so fortunate to be a participant in Aquatic Physical Therapy at Gaspar Doctors of Physical Therapy with Directors: Summer Somple Pountney DPT and Kai Somple Marcus DPT. Summer and Kai are the dynamic (identical twin) duo!!nTogether, with their amazing staff of physical therapy aides, especially my fave: Sara PT Aide, make me feel so welcomed. With their exceptional personalities, they go above and beyond to promote hope and optimism to me and all of us at Aqua Therapy; the silver lining to my spinal issues. They have definitely earned this well- deserved letter of praise.nSummer, Kai and Sara manifest that they really care about me. I feel kindly treated with great respect. They are super talented, knowledgeable and professional, attentive and detailed. I have become a “regular” in the pool as I love to float and move in the water in a way that is not possible for me on land. I can even do squats in the really warm water!! Aquatic Rehab brings out the mermaid in me. The indoor heated pool environment is so comfortable.nWhat makes Aqua Therapy so special? They focus on the body’s ability to heal that honors the mind/body connection. Practically speaking, the staff is very organized and focused. The staff at the Encinitas facility could not be nicer. They are knowledgeable and spend time with me answering my questions and listening to my concerns. From the receptionists to the therapists, all make me feel important and cared for.
