Weeks ago, I spoke with the Senior Patrol Volunteer managers at this North Coastal subdivision. This subdivision, like all the other senior volunteer teams in San Diego County, are truly amazing groups of senior people focused on simple, basic, critical tasks in the community to secure our quality of life. They are committed to following their chosen schedules each week and clearly love what they do.nnI learned all county sheriff volunteers activities have been temporary suspended due to (COVID). May each of the members in Coastal Senior Volunteer Patrol group remain healthy and strong during COVID. They make an enormous difference. I don't think we citizens know how much they do to improve our every day.nnSan Diego County is physically large. Its critical that each of the sheriff , police and CHP subdivisions have committed, dedicated senior volunteers for that specific area. May more qualified, eager committed, and reliable active seniors seriously look into the truly awesome opportunity to volunteer for Senior Patrol throughout our county. People are different from each other. Thus, volunteering at these type of organizations may not be a good fit of what they want to commit to. But, when one learns the details to the program--one is deeply amazed and grateful for such an effective program and group of people within. At times, I share what I learn. It is inevitable I had to share my experience!

Absolutely the most useless non-law abiding Citizen’s in the state the sheriffs department are sovereign citizens and they tell the citizens what to do they’re paid to carry a gun and persecute

I was recently involved in an accident. The Deputies arrived in minutes, cool, calm, collected, professional. I was a mess. Sgt. Watkins stayed by me the entire time. All the deputies were calm, comforting, and professional. They operated together like a well-oiled machine. Medical help was there in a flash, also. Can't say enough good about the Encinitas Station deputies, they were life-savers. Truly there to protect and serve, and I am forever grateful!
