Board & Brew - Del Mar

Just visited this great place today! My friend and I came from Arizona and wanted some lunch before heading back. Neither of us have been here before but will definitely be back! We had the Chicken Club and Left Coast Pastrami and the sandwiches were so filling, we had to take home leftovers! Potato salad was delicious as well! Friendly service as well! Keep up the great job!

The sandwich was a bit too bready for me. As you can see from the pic the meat was a little sparse. I should have went for the double meat option, if they had it. The veggies were fresh and overall it was a good Italian sandwich but the sauce was…different. It’s a homemade Italian but it isn’t your traditional oil based dressing. It’s a creamy Italian that almost was a blend of a Catalina dressing with a heavy dose of mayonnaise. It wasn’t bad, just a variation on the traditional oil and vinegar. Still worth a try but be prepared for a line and crowds.

I went around 5:30 on Jan 20th, the guy working the cashier was an absolute pleasure to be served by. Extremely enthusiastic and nice while also being very active and considerate about enforcing and encouraging social distancing practices. The food was great as well. My experience uplifted my mood and made me proud to support this business. Fantastic job, keep up the great work.

Inexpensive sandwich place. They get your food out really fast. It's nice that there's a cheap place to get food in this area, because the rest of the restaurants seem to be kind of pricey. There's parking in the back or on the street. I think they had dine-in closed when I went in October, but normally they have patio seating.

My partner and I were walking and trying to find a yummy lunch and we found this place that was packed of people. It was sooooooo Gooooood and there was no denying why everyone was there. Definitely try the sauce!! Yum yum yum!nAND everyone was so nice and efficient! What a. Crew!
