Great Sheriff department. Always on top of issues when I call. Very friendly and respectful on the phone. Have called a few times on issues or on questions. Each time they responded in a timely manner.
Some time back I had my saddle stolen from a tack shed where I kept my horse. Not only did you guys find it (I thought it was gone for good) but when I picked it up it was spotless, the latigo cinch strap was folded just right and it was obvious it was treated with such great care. Thank you to everyone involved in that case. I wouldn't have been able to afford a new one, so it means a lot to me. Every time I see my saddle now I think of you guys.
Terrible experience. Dispatchers are not helpful. You need to ask questions to get your case number or any information other than what’s provided. Really poor customer service. The call didn’t make me feel safe at all.nnAlso, I was told they’ll call me from a restricted or blocked number. When people are scared the last thing they want to hear is an officer is calling from a number like that.
A. Rossi at the front desk is very friendly and helpful! She took my information and proceeded to call the right person to help me! Ms. Karen came out with paperwork and the charge for copies of reports is 20/dollars. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes!
Thank you SD County Sheriff's for extending the facility for renewal of special licenses. In these difficultnIt has taken much planning and foresight to have this service made available . It is much appreciated.
