Such a serene lake! Great place place to enjoy Gods beauty. Get away from the hustle and bustle. Not crowded so no worrying about social distancing. Some families were not wearing masks. Lots of birds you can feed. You can rent boats when things reopen. Great place for kids.

My family has a few homes away from home and Dixon Lake is definitely one of them. We come here for about 10 years now. To fish, rent a boat, hike, bring friends to share what we love about Dixon Lake with.nOne half of the campground offers city light view at night, which is super special. The other half has lake view which is very nice during the day.nEverything is kept super neat, staff is extraordinarily friendly and this place truly is super relaxing and has a lot to offer for all ages.

This was a experience that only the eyes of the beholder could actually explain to people who aren't aware that this place is enchanting and beautiful beyond words please take a look at the photos to get a better understanding.

Great little City Park! Full hookup W/S/E for $35 a night and $25 at the tent area with on water but it’s nearby. Shower house and restrooms with running water, bonus there’s an 120 outlet at the restrooms that tent campers may need! Great views of the lake and city with miles of trails in and near the park. Why only 4 stars LOTS of dog rules. I know it’s not the dogs fault but owners need to clean up after there pets and keep them under control. The park didn’t allow dogs in the past so people watch after them it’s not the dogs responsibility it’s ours! They do charge a dollar per night for your pet.

My boyfriend and I go all the time they have some nice areas where you can fish some require a little hike and others not so much we've been going over 2 years and its never to busy on the lake they have huge catfish. Staff are nice at the entrance and office. They sometimes charge for parking but always pole license and fishing are required. They also have boat rentals
