Be very aware when purchasing an extended warranty from Pirch. We purchased a Bosch dishwasher in 2017 and also an extended warranty for 36 months. Shortly before the warranty was about to expire we were getting an error code on the dishwasher and it wasn't draining properly. I called the Pirch service department to find out about having it repaired and they said they would give the information to who they use for repairs. I called the repair company to schedule an appointment and they informed me that they are based in San Diego and do not do service in the Coachella Valley. I called back the service department at Pirch to explain the situation and they said that there was another repair firm that was based out of San Francisco and they would call within 24-48 hours to schedule an appointment. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. So after three days had passed I called Pirch service again to let them know that no one called back. The service department said that they would find another repair firm. They did schedule a repair appointment in THREE WEEKS and we had already been without a working dishwasher for over one week. This type of customer service is unacceptable. I had to get this dishwasher repaired myself. You can be sure that I will NEVER purchase another item from Pirch and I had purchased other items previously.nnUPDATE: Someone from Pirch called today to see if everything was taken care of and wanted to follow up. No doubt due to my post yesterday. I said I had to repair the dishwasher myself and couldn't wait another three weeks. They asked if I paid someone to repair it and I said that I personally repaired it. They said, so you did not have to pay to have it repaired and I replied that it cost me two hours of my time. They never acknowledged my inconvenience nor did they say they were sorry of what happened.

This place doesn't focus on customer service besides the SALES part of the transaction. We had a very pleasant time going through the showroom and decided on a Bosch kitchen suite of appliances, plus installation, for our new kitchen project at The Springs. That was the good part. During the scheduled install in October, the installers told us that they would not be able to hook up the oven/microwave combo because the wires coming out from our wall – that our electrician conveniently left for them – did not color match the appliance’s wires perfectly and that they couldn’t figure out how to turn off the power to the kitchen. They further insisted that there must be sub-panel for the kitchen – which there wasn’t, and left for their next appointment with a huge appliance in the middle of our kitchen. After talking to Pirch’s install manager, he assured us that they’d be back to install and that we just needed to make sure the power was off. When they came back, they installed the oven/micro combo – btw, we had changed none of the wiring, so I assumed they had figured that out. That wasn’t the end, of course. They next told us that they would not be able to install the induction cooktop – for the same reason – that the wires coming from the wall did not match the cooktop’s wires! Certainly, this could not have been the first time that this was encountered. These homes were built in the early 80’s and they want the wiring scheme to be exact for an appliance in 2020?! I called our electrician who could not make it and he instructed us/them as to what are the hot wires and how it should be connected. Regardless, they did not install the cooktop saying that they weren’t prepared to do so. Upon leaving that day, we noticed the Pirch installers had damaged the lower drawer front, below the oven/micro appliance. I took pictures of the damage and emailed them to Pirch. This was two months ago! I’ve now emailed Pirch the invoice from the cabinet company twice asking them to pay the bill directly. I have called their Customer Service Manager, Zach Adwell, also twice, and have not had the courtesy of a call back. They always say that he’s on another call and that he’ll get back to me. This is not the type of customer service that we thought we’d get from Pirch. We could never recommend using Pirch.nnFor all of you wondering what we did about the induction cooktop? We had a local appliance installer come in and install it for $75 in less than 20 minutes, no issues. Pirch charged us over $1K for the install and it was a complete disappointment. What we should have done from the beginning was purchase the appliances from Best Buy – the prices were identical – and had them or a local installer put them in. We thought we’d get personal, local attention from Pirch. That was not to be the case. In fact, it appears they've ignored our honest request to make us whole on the issue.nn***UPDATE: Pirch customer service manager made contact with me. Agreed to refund the installation costs of the oven/micro combo and induction cooktop. They also reimbursed us for the costs to replace the damaged drawer front.

Living in San Diego and being familiar with other Pirch locations, I was out in the desert visiting and upon needing a few accessories I stumbled upon Pirch in Rancho Mirage.nnWOW- I must say I experienced possibly the best customer service of all time from Ellen. Not only having a great personality, product knowledge, attentiveness, she gave me a good peace of mind about my next purchase.nnPirch Rancho Mirage--- Ellen Davenport is a huge asset to your store and you have a customer for life!!!

I purchased a full kitchen appliance package and all my plumbing for a complete remodel from Jessica at Pirch. From the time I walked in the door they could not have been nicer. They were informative but not pushy. I had gone to Ferguson and Pacific Sales prior and was very disappointed, so it was very refreshing when I arrived at Pirch. I would highly recommend them and would not waste my time on anyone else. Their prices are better too!!!!
