Two family members and I went to a special Christian comedy show there on Wednesday October 2 hosted by June Colson with Robert G Lee and it was FUNNY ! WOW ! I have never laughed so much in I don't know how many years, and in a church too ! The presentation was Great, and church members who showed us where to park , greeted us at the door, checked our tickets , offered us free water and seated us were some of the friendliest people I have ever met, with some of the most genuine smiles I have ever seen. They are one friendly genuinely happy church. I only went because I had seen June Colson and Robert G Lee perform before and I knew they are Good ! But I was surprised by how nice the church building , the Pastor , and the whole congregation are ! I traveled about 4 1/2 hours from poplar bluff mo with my two family members because I knew the show was going to be good but I never gave much thought about the church building or church members or minister, I was amazed ! From the time I met the first parking attendant I knew I was among friends, I felt like I was among family, I will be back to visit, if I lived near bowling Green KY I would go there often, they are a good bunch of people with a great minister, I enjoyed his humor, I did not hear him preach or teach but I look forward to sometime in the future . The show ended about 9 pm and it was about 4 1/2 hours home but we were wide awake all the way home talking about Meadow Land Baptist Church, June Colson, Robert G Lee, the church members the Minister ( I'm sorry I can't remember his name but i really like him!) If you get a chance visit them I think you will like them .
