Wakefield Books

Has been my go-to bookstore for years. They carry a large selection and if they don't have something they are always happy to order it for me for no extra cost. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they give great recommendations. During Covid they even helped me pick out several presents over the phone I was able to have mailed directly to the recipient. Could not recommend more highly!

Great store. Associates know where everything is. I was looking for cook books; mainly air fryer ones. Took me to the section, then said if you need to relax, sit at the benches and page through. Very welcoming. Highly recommend.

Fantastic local bookstore. Excellent selection if you're looking for something current or reasonably current to read in the way of fiction, historical, or sightseeing. Lots of children's books. Lots of stuff on sale that is reasonably current. Charming staff who will help you out. Please do as I do and support small bookstores. This is one example of the type of store that I hope we will be able to enjoy for many more decades.

Wakefield books is a wonderful store. We love to go as a family and just browse. Usually, we find something that we can't resist. It is a popular gift certificate location, so we are often are headed there as our destination.nnThe staff are very friendly and helpful. They keep a several curated stacks of new and interesting books. Honestly, I use my eReader or my phone to do most of my reading, but holding a book in my hand is a pleasure that I can't give up completely. This store is where I usually go to satisfy that pleasure.
