North Providence Fire station

After. completing a very demanding EMT training course at Ozga EMT Training in Johnston.in February, 2019 I was directed to the Providence Fire and Rescue but was repeatedly having no success at the Providence FD despite many repeated, unanswered phone calls, requesting a position as an observer to complete my 10 hours of required “ride time” in accordance with RI Department of Health guidelines for EMT licensure.nnThen I thougt of calling the North Prividence Fire and Rescue Department because I had heard they were busy and excellent.nnImmediately I was connected directly to Chief Robert DeAngelis who is in charge of theemergency services.nnAfter asking several questions about my background and status, he said they would be glad to have me do my mandatory 10 hours of observation with Rescue 1 in North Providence.nnI can not say enough about what that experience has meant to me and how much I learned observing the day to day workings of these dedicated firefighter-rescuers.nnThe team of firefighter-rescuers I worked with were incredibly helpful, competent and professional as was their Lieutenant and especially their highly demanding Captain who always had their attention and respect.nnThe residents of North Prividence are truly fortunate in having such a competent, caring and highly qualified team of firefighters and rescuers available to assist them at all times. .

Fire Fighters arrived en force, quickly, to disarm the fire alarm that went off in our apartment building. Fortunately, it was not a fire, but a smoke situation which set it off.nnWe appreciate the quick and courteous response to our problem, and we thank all the fire fighters for our good service.nnApt. 204, 10 Tanglewood Lane, N.P. 02904

Class 1 Department! To all the idiots who write bad reviews, keep your mouth shut about what the fire department does with there lights and sirens blaring, if you never worked a day in your life in the field of fire service, then you have no buisness commenting poorly about how to go about fire department buisness. Keep safe guys!
