Do not come here unless you want braces for years, and want to be greeted by a rude receptionist. They haven't answered my calls in months. I finally decided to just show up and to test my theory. I sat in the waiting and called the office and I just watched as the receptionist sat there and ignored the call. Wish I could give a -5 star review but sadly not an option. DO NOT COME HERE EVEN FOR THE LOW PRICE... IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Receptionist is rude and assistants are not any better. Definitely not a friendly environment. Not hard to tell. Dr. Steven Silverberg is insensitive to his patients. He does not speak to you when he sees you for check ups for questions or concerns. He can care less about relationship with patients, it is clear he cares more about $$$ then patients. His work is terrible. Had braces for over a year, teeth/gaps opened back up as they where before braces. I paid out of pocket, waste of time and money. Came to his office due to price but they do say you get what you pay for! Wish I would have knew more about his office, that is why I hope my review helps any potential new patients... NOT worth it.

WORST DECISION I’VE EVER MADE COMING HERE!!! Receptionist is very rude and racist. They made my bottom row of teeth uglier than they were before I got braces & they kept them on me for 4 years which made my teeth start overlapping because they were too straight and they consistently kept tightening my braces every month!!!!! I regret coming here. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone they need to close this place ASAP!!!!!!!! ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21

Please do not subject your kids to this horror! If you can't afford orthodontics, just let them wait until they are older and can save up to see someone good! I went to this office when I was around 17. I made it clear what I wanted and didn't want. He continually pressured me into doing things I didn't want, using fear tactics. He told me that I sounded ridiculous because I had a lisp (strange that no one else in the world could tell) and that my overbite was my own fault for tongue-thrusting and I should just stop. They told me we would be covered by insurance if we started before I turned 18, but then when I turned 18 they said I'd have to pay out of pocket. Worst of all, my front teeth had nice, natural little notches that I told him from the beginning I was very proud of (the natural look, not a straight-edge all the way across the front rows). After he took my braces off they were cleaning up my teeth and one thing felt like it was sanding them. I had to fight for them to stop and when they did they told me they were filing my teeth to make them super straight and nice. I bawled my eyes out when they showed me a mirror, and then they still forced me to smile (tears streaming down my cheeks) for their files. I am now 28 and have to pay to see another orthodontist in Oregon to fix what they did to me (my bottom row is worse than it was before I started). Sadly, there is no way to get my teeth back; they will forever be short and square and not match my face now. Also, everyone else who commented about them being rude, criticizing patients, and making racist comments--I totally concur.

My younger brother attends this office, and it is the worst mistake we have EVER made!!! The office, is old- fashion, and they have no computers, and only one telephone line, which is FOREVER BUSY!! It takes days to get a hold of them, and appointments are only available 2 days a week. The worst part is dealing with the secretary!!! One of the many things she has done, is yell at me because I called in to ask what date was my brother's appointment on, and she told me it was against HIPPA!!! I advised her I was well informed of the HIPPA guidelines, as I work in the medical field myself. The disrespect we have received from this office caused us to place several complaints to our insurance. Just because my family speaks a different language (plus Clear English) does not mean we don't know our rights. WIth so many complaints I am still suprised the doctor puts his practice at risk.
