Went to get my brothers birth certificate it was quick and they're going to mail it to me.

I went in for a job interview for a position in the mayor's office and later realized it was a complete farce. First, let me state I did not need this position. I went for it because I have civic pride, I felt that my strengths could genuinely assist them and because it is the city that needs help badly. They need ethical, articulate and intelligent servants who aren't in it solely for the gold-plated pension (which, by the way, will definitely be reformed sooner or later). Unfortunately, what I witnessed was entrenched-business-as-usual. I was interviewed by two people, a male and female who did a weird good cop/bad cop routine. I quickly realized from the the lazy questions and unfocused attention that they probably already had a inside candidate in mind and wanted to interview a handful of non-insiders for show. As a test, I asked them for the the top three categories of concern that this particular department handles. Neither of these adult full-time city employees had an answer about the very department they were interviewing to hire for! I did have the answers (right on the website), and promptly supplied them. No wonder why this city continues to struggle year after year. It is truly, deeply buried neck high in ineptitude. By the way, I've happily continued on in the private sector.
