Portsmouth Housing Authority

There was a listing for an apartment in North Kingstown that was perfect for my girlfriend and I. I called and left messages and got no reply. Next day the listing was gone, called again and was told it was still available. The woman on the phone told me I could mail in the application, but I asked if I could go to the office and fill out app. on spot. She said yes. Their office was an hour away from me yet I wanted to show that I was pro-active and be the first one to send in the app. Long story short it was a gigantic waste of time. Nobody ever got back to me. So if your looking to rent from this company I wouldn't recommend it. they don't seem professional and I'm sure they just judged me immediately then threw out my app. Getting that place meant alot to Us and I should have had the opportunity to have rented the place. IF YOUR GOING TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO PORTSMOUTH TO THIS OFFICE DON'T ITS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.
