Lazy, unfriendly, do not police their area. Really does not have a good reputation with neighbors. They were better in '88 for many years. Than the VIPs, as they see themselves, call the shots in a unneighborly manner.
Take the grandson to the meetings since he's into minerals and fossils. The folks that run the kids programs are great with the kids. Very family friendly .
Excellent group of people who are very knowledgeable about the hobby they practice. They offer classes in membership for those who are interested in learning how to do lapidary work including making cabs, faceting, and silversmithing. Highly recommend.
Great bunch of knowledgeable people. Friendly and willing to pass on their experiences and expertise. We are so glad we got to join!
My children are relativley new members of the Clubs GeoJuniors program. It has done a wonderful job engaging their love of learning and science.
