Absolutely pathetic they won't let customers in. Lost my business for life.

Two stars because my drill works very well.nnI found that this was an authorized Makita repair location close to me. I took my drill in there and the a lady said they would call me in within three days. I did not get any calls for two weeks. I didn't call because they just tag your drill and take your name and number and it's so close to me. They did not give me any record of my drop off. (I thought that was strange after the fact) anyway, I stopped in the first chance I had during business hours, which was two weeks after I dropped it off.nnA lady at the desk close to the counter allowed me to stand there for a few minutes before she acknowledged I was there. She asked me if she could help me. I told her I dropped of my drill and was looking for an update. She asked with a very rude attitude if anyone called me. I told her no, but I was told I'd be called within three days and it's been two weeks with no word. She then told me it probably wasn't done then. With more of the same attitude. I told her I'd like to at least know the status. Throughout this entire time she was not pleasant. She told me it was covered under warranty and they had to order parts. Great, so a time line? She said they probably had to wait on parts. Oh wait the parts came in. Oh wait let me see where it is and the status. She went to the back. Meanwhile, everyone who was working there looked miserable. That's just an observation. She came back and handed me my drill and said it was fixed. I signed something and left with my drill. Not once was she nice.nnMy drill works great. It smells funny like it's burning, but it works great.nnAt this point I'm not sure how long I would have to had waited to know my drill was fixed. Two more weeks, a month, ever? I don't know. But what I do know is I rather drive 40 miles to any other repair place than ever go here again. Mainly because of that lady. I mean, I'm so sorry that I inconvenienced you. If your not good with people, then don't work with them. I seriously have never seen such a miserable looking bunch of workers. I've never been treated so rudely just by walking in and asking if my service was done.nnI get back logs, I get delays, I get oversights, but I don't get biting the hand that feeds. I feel you be better if finding somewhere else. I know I will next time.

Fair priced

My parts were on back order and it took time to get them but the parts were correct. In the end, my air ratchet is like new again. Thanks PTR!
