After being a member for over 10 years, I decided to cancel my membership. I called the club multiple times with no response before giving up and calling corporate. Anytime Fitness Corp. couldn’t help me because the Chesterland location is a franchise. I was then directed to their billing company. In late October 2020, as required by contract, I submitted a written request to the club - and another to ABC Financial - via email to all the addresses ABC Financial had on file.nnThey continued to withdraw dues from my account after cancellation. After receiving no response from the club when I reached out regarding this, I put a stop payment on the drafts from my account. After speaking to ABC Financial, I believed the matter was resolved; that is until I received a collections letter in the mail today.nnAbsent standing in the club, waiting for someone to show up, there is nothing more I could have done to reach anyone. At this point, my only remedy is to file suit.
I’ve been coming here for about a year and I have to say it’s one of the cleanest gyms you’ll ever be in. Good selection of equipment, friendly patrons and good ownership. Give it a try.
They have been making unauthorized withdrawals from my savings account for 2 months now and will not return my phone calls or emails. Do not trust them with your financial info!
When I opened my account, there was a duplicate membership opened and I was charged double every month. They continue to charge me now that my account is closed and don't return my calls about it.
The. best gym ever, clean, all the equipment I need and all nice people.
