Excellent police department. Although I’ve had my fair share of tickets that I received as I grew up here, I was well deserving of them. They always lend a hand, are helpful, patient, understanding, and most importantly fair beyond belief. People need to understand what these individuals do for us to keep the city going and safe. Enough gratitude can’t be given, thank you and please keep up the amazing hard work. It is much appreciated.
Stayed overnight for a business trip after some legal proceedings, do not recommend. The room was dark, hadn't been redecorated since at least the 70's and, didn't it even have a TV; I won't even start about how bad the bed was.nnThe concierge seemed to have almost no concern about guest comfort no matter how much you offer to tip him, I guess you have to be a high roller if you expect him to get you tickets to any shows. The food was reasonable, if you didn't mind eating it cold and the strict no alcohol policy doesn't help too much on that end.nnThey don't offer much for extra curricular activities, but I did see a weird looking massage chair that I didn't try; getting a massage while wearing a helmet and being strapped down doesn't really appeal to me.

Grew up in North Olmsted, I've only talked to about 3 or 4 officers, bu those officers who I did talk to, were all very kind and respectable people. As for their jobs, they all do a magnificent job at it! Quick response times and professional behavior. Long story short, the NOPD is a reliable police department, and I hope to maybe become an officer for them one day.
One of the worst departments I've ever interacted with. Not one knew the laws and when presented with the laws to ignorant to understand them. They will laugh in your face, then when you come back with a court order they tell you to get out they wont aid in the matter.
