Oh my gosh...nicest experience we've had in a grocery store in decades! It's not a Kroger of course, but the customer service makes up for a difference in prices and selection. A great place!
They have the best bakery in town. They always have a wide verity of fresh baked food. They help you load your groceries too! They also tend to have the freshest produce in my opinion. They have stayed a home town classic.
The 'golden girls' retro vibe in this store is the main selling point! Tack on their homemade lunch and dinners at the delis, the amazing donuts and vast beer selection, hands down best ma and pa grocery of all time.
Great Staff and full of hometown pride. They are quick at checkout, will bag and help you to your car and even help load it. Always remember to tip the person who helps you to your car. They work hard to give you a small luxury, and most of them are young respectful kids in highschool. A dollar goes a long way. I love IGA Hometown pride and home of the pick 4 for $20.
All the staff is extremely friendly. I especially recommend talking to Mike who works the customer service desk even if it's just to give a friendly hello and maybe exchange a few kind words.
