The covid has made this place a ghost town.

City Creek Center is my favorite place to shop in Salt Lake City. It is very clean, with an open fresh air feel, you can hear the the sound of the creek running and has a great food court. All the current retailers and eateries are doing a fantastic job making us customers feel safe and welcome. There are days where I just chose to go for a relaxing walk through City Creek Center observing the architecture combined with nature. During the re-development of this mall in 2012, they chose to keep a historical outside appearance that looks amazing on Main St. The building restored facade of a mercantile institution founded 1868 and was the largest retail store West of the Mississippi River at the time. When Macy's bought the retail store, they continued the historical look improvements by insuring the original retail store name was visible on the building, ZCMI. The mall has lots of great stores and places to eat. It also has a very safe feel as you walk and shop. A light rail station is located on Main St. right at the center's entrance. A Marriott is also attached to the mall. Shopping in Salt Lake City is best done at this City Creek Center.

Beautiful atmosphere, pretty lights during holidays. Nice interior atmosphere top of the line interior finishes with creek and modern bridges and just amazing landscaping. Perfect mood lighting at night, perfect for dates, get together with friends and just a night on the town, ambiance is perfect. Food court has great options and easy to get around parking is free first 2 hours and minimal hourly charge even after that.

Rating this place only on looks alone because I didn't really come here to shop. This place has a wonderful outdoor indoor feel to it. The ceilings are super high and gives it a really majestic feel. There's a little stream going through and dogs are allowed inside the common area. I think this is definitely worth a visit just to walk around and admire the building
