I really like this store I usually spend over 50 bucks every time I go in there but today the female cashier went out of her way to make me and two of my grandchildren very uncomfortable. Hopefully she was just having a bad day I'll go back at least one more time but I will not be disrespected especially when I'm spending my money!
I had a good experience at this Salvation Army. There was a decent amount of clothes here, but there is a lot of floor space wasted. The staff were helpful and nice at the desks. The floors, and other things are in need up update and repair. Less merchandise than in other years, but I found what I was looking for. As always, pleasant people, pleasant music, pleasant atmosphere.
I went to donate some nice clean clothes and house items and was horrified to see multiple piles of donations just piled up outside. When I drove by the donation door there was a 20 ft plus mountain pile inside the building. Who ever is managing this should be fired. Even with covid there is no excuse for this kind of disaster. I have shopped and donated here multiple times because I know that the Salvation Army blesses many people across the Dayton area. Previously this place has always been clean. organized with quality.
