I never imagined in my wildest dreams thought I would have to handle funeral arrangements for one of my children. I am so very pleased that I went with Edwards Funeral Services. They handled everything the way that I could have ever imagined and even though it's only been 5 months since my son was taken, I just want the whole staff to know that I truly appreciate the way everything was handled and the empathy and passion that was shown to me and my family, and I will be forever grateful. Thank you for helping me transition my son to coming home to me.

I lost my twin brother in death. He lived in Pike County. We contacted Edwards and spoke to Brittany. She quoted a price that she said included going to Chillicothe to get my brothers body and she said it included all paperwork. When my nephew went to pay her they upped the price $500. She said this was for picking up his body and paper work. We were shocked because I made sure when I spoke with her that everything was included in the first price of $900 and now they had his body and we weren’t going to get it back unless we paid them $500 more. To make matters worse they would not let me pick up the ashes. I was his twin. The family offered notarized papers giving me permission. They demanded that his wife come to Columbus to get them. She was grieving so badly that you could not get her out of bed but they weren’t willing to work with us. These people are crooks with no sympathy for the dead or their families.

During one of the most difficult, life changing moments in my life, my family and I stumbled upon Edwards funeral home. I cannot begin to tell you of the warmth, patience, understanding and aptitude of Edwards. Barry is one of the most thoughtful, precise, serene mannered men I have ever met in my life. Answering every question, dotting every I, he and Jeff moved mountains for us. I can't put into words the blessing your expediency was; Edwards met my families heartache with great aplomb, efficiency and the urgency it merited. When it came down to it, they got the job done right, on time. Dedicated to helping you understand the process, committed to helping families begin the healing, I am forever in your debt, your kindness never obliterated. Barry, you are forever in my thoughts.
