Due to snowfall and then heavy rainfall, our basement incurred damage from hydrostatic pressure, a confirmation Icon provided after the job was completed, which fell in line with our own suspicions and information from other sources. We were provided answers to all our questions related to the job - plus, general queries about our home and protection from further water damage were answered as well. I was initially happy with Icon and believed they had removed the gray water from a sewer line leak in the crawl space under my kitchen using fans, heaters and dehumidifiers. They told me, great news, it’s all dry, please sign here for completion of job. I was very disappointed and shocked when my plumber went back into the crawl space to make the repairs and showed me photos of the standing sewage water still down there.nI was then told by Austin that the additional water was not on them, it was from rain we had overnight. That was very disturbing because it was not true.nMy downspouts are in good working order and we didn’t get much rain overnight. I was ready to take any necessary action to keep my insurance company from paying them for a job they didn’t complete. I fully believe that Austin and Dan misrepresented the facts to their manager Matt because neither Austin nor Dan went down into the kitchen area crawl space. If they had done that, the cob webs would have been disturbed and THEY WERE NOT!!nI am now better satisfied with Icon because of Brandin! He took care of the issue, didn’t misrepresent anything, got under my kitchen and mitigated the water. He also added the hydrated lime that I wanted placed all over the area to kill the surface bacteria and make my home safe. He saved this relationship, did a great job of calming me down, did what no one else would do and cleaned up after himself.nBrandin made the difference and he should be recognized for his exceptional customer service mitigation as well as for completing the job at hand, the hard, down and dirty way. Excellent customer service from the time they took my call early on a Sunday morning until the job was finished on Wednesday afternoon. Matt was the person that handled our water damage dry out. He was very professional and kept us informed of every step along the way. Highly recommend this company.
