When I called to discuss continuing the home insurance of my recently deceased finance, the woman on the phone literally laughed and said that they could not continue to insure the house he had owned as it was vacant. This was after having his home insured with them for 14 years and never filing a claim. There are two other people I work with who have also received bad customer service from them. One was quoted a very high rate on car insurance, but received a quote for half that rate from another State Farm office down the road. Think twice.
