The AUDACITY of the woman working behind the counter on 3/2/2021. Rather than sending my fiancé’s engagement ring to Blue Nile in Seattle to be resized, I suggested she take it Beyer Jewelers here locally for the work. The drop-off was smooth with nothing to report. However, I asked my fiancé if she would have the jeweler verify the GIA laser inscription on the girdle of the diamond under the advice of our insurance company to verify we were receiving OUR diamond back. ANY reputable jeweler would would seize this moment to show their integrity. This woman took immediate offense to the request and said she would have to go get special equipment to see it which was a blatant LIE as ALL GIA laser inscriptions are viewable under just 10X magnification and easily viewable with a simple jewelers’ loop. This exchange left my fiancé feeling bad for asking and didn’t even end up verifying our diamond. Hmmm. As if to turn her nose up at us she said “why would I swap out a diamond when I have a million dollars worth of diamonds?” WOW!! Why are we evil for making a perfectly logical request to insure our investment is safe??? Jewelers swap diamonds all of the time, hence why they laser inscribe them...nThen to pour salt on an open would, she proceeds to trash talk Blue Nile to my fiancé who LOVES her ring and is getting married in 54 days. How dare you make her feel like she was proposed to with an inferior engagement ring. This is the most special time in her life and you threw mud on it. So we’re clear, I went to Blue Nile AFTER I looked at your inventory and let me just say, YOU are why people shop chain and online jewelers. You left vibrant bride to be feeling small and defeated with your smug and ugly rant. Shame on you. You act like you’re shop is on 5th Avenue (We’ve shopped 5th Ave and you are FAR removed) but it’s literally on the corner of Belmont and Columbus Avenues in Springfield Ohio across from a thrift store/apartment, a propane station, and a used tire shop. You looked down on us as if we couldn’t afford your overpriced and outdated costume and estate jewelry but you judged a book by its cover and were wrong. We didn’t lack the money to spend in your shop, trust me. We simply lacked interest in spending our money on jewelry unfit for a queens finger. Blue Nile has our business for life, they have superior jewelry, knowledge, selection, quality, and customer service.

The lady looked at my jewelry for all of 3 sec before she told me it was fake and handed it back...when I showed her the karat stamp she said someone else had stamped it, I asked if she had a way to test it there she said No and looked at the door as if to tell me to leave... They have a nice selection of overpriced jewelry though!

Great to work with and very helpful

Stopped in to get the battery replaced in my watch. Other places have failed. Didn't have the right tool or something. Beyer had me finished in less than ten minutes. Very fair price. Nice looking place. Lots of jewelry to look at. Very happy customer.

Love this place reasonable prices and the ladies are great
