I used Spotlight's services for several years while in the Real Estate Industry. I was either the transaction coordinator/agent scheduling photography for listings. Years back they were incredible, top notch and great service and photography. Quality went down hill a few years ago and the team I was on, decided to quit using them. I changed teams 1.5 years ago where my new team had them as their preferred photographer. The ease of ordering a tour is simple, Jeff who did the scheduling was incredible and empathetic. He tried to resolve any issue that arose. Bret usually jumped at trying to make things better as well. The company had some turn over and seemed to hire photographers without much understanding of real estate photography. The quality of photos went downhill drastically. It became difficult to make arrangements for photographers to access the home as they lacked photographers with supra access. At times sellers would accommodate (schedule time away from work to meet) and the photographer would be extremely late. The most valued rooms that sell a home, were missed. We would receive the selection of photos and have to reach out asking if they had more photos as the selection was poor. Katherine would call frequently either running late or she forgot something inside a home and had to run back or the photos taken were poor. After reviewing the number of tours used we realized we were spending way too mush for poor quality product. If you tried to call and speak to someone in accounting or call back to make changes and Jeff was away, you would not get an answer. The phone would just ring and ring until you got the voicemail. We terminated our relationship back in November where we were told a 30 day notice was required. When asked for documentation of such agreement, a typed agreement for the franchise was provided, an agreement that was unsigned. I tried to resolve this with Bret who I really do like. He offered to take photos for us exclusively, but the most recent photography session we had issues with was one he personally photographed. After providing them an opportunity to provide evidence for the notice and not receiving such, we moved on with another company. Spotlight then charged our company card ($715 a month which was our verbal agreement for them to provide at least 13 bronze motion tours). We disputed the charge on our credit card to our credit card company. Soon thereafter, spotlight finally provided a screen to a company email address agreeing to terms that were not provided in the screenshot 7 years prior. Let alone, when the company was on a different plan. When our CEO reached out to try and find a resolution, we were offered a credit with their company for half the amount we were charged and comments stating I was not workable. A simple request to provide evidence of such agreement seems reasonable. If they would have provided the evidence we would have gladly accommodated.

Spotlight was very difficult to work with. First just try calling thier number. good Luck having someone either answer or ever check thier voicemails. Next when I did finally talk with them they directed me to sign up on thier website which the whole process took forever. Then when the day came for the photographer (ian) showed up he failed to follow my directions on staging the photo of the bathroom. instead he took some bathtub photos and forgot my instructions (Be sure to check thier work while taking the photos onsite at your property because if they leave and then another long wait to get your photos (in my case 4 days) when you catch thier mistakes they will not own up to it, fix the problem, sending out the photographer to retake and lastly they will not refund your money (be sure to process on a credit card to reverse your charges) . Lastly the photo dimensions they sent were not compatible to upload onto my website. So to recap, did not follow directions, refuse to fix mistakes, refuse to refund if there is a problem and will not fix , and they did not have the right file dimensions. Thanks for nothing

We've worked with Spotlight for several years and have been pleased with our partnership. It's such a pleasure from start to finish on every project, no matter what our specific needs. From working with their appointment team to the professionalism of the photographers on the shoots and beyond to their editing team, we wan to say thank you, Spotlight!

I worked with this company for over a year, The photographer we worked with was great, just wasn't able to keep up with the amount of work. When the time came that we no longer needed their services i called in and cancelled. They told me verbally that we were good to go, never heard from them again but the bill kept coming through. called them every month and they told me the same thing that they will work it out and email or call me. Still never heard from them but they continued to charge me. Their customer service is horrible!! i have finally gotten it cancelled today, started this back in June. If you choose to use their services i highly recommend recording your calls or having an email trail so that you have proof because they will not leave with grace and will charge cancellation fees and anything they can.
