Haverstraw King's Daughters Public Library

This library is one of the worst libraries I've ever been to. For one, the book selection is very limited and they barely have any good books. The staff was very unhelpful as to finding books. Then after spending a good half hour searching for at least one good book, we arrived at the checkout and are informed that we are limited to ten books! No one told us anything before and we wasted all our time for nothing. I don't recommend this library to anyone.

As an outsider to this community I must say that this is the most beautiful library that me and my family have ever attended. The children's section is phenomenal I love how they have it set up. So many comfortable places to sit and read access to the computer I love how they have little drawing and art stations for the little kids. The day I attended they had a little kids class going on with music and reading it was great. I wish libraries like this existed where I currently live there are very far and few in-between that have phenomenal people working there like the group that works at this Library. I will definitely be coming back here anytime that I'm back in Haverstraw Garnerville area. anyone that has access to the library should be grateful for a Library such as this one.

My family and I love this library. My daughter gets on the computer, my Husband sits on the Lanai and draws, I do a little bit of both. There are always events or crafting going on for all ages. The staff is excellent, very helpful and personable. I recommend this library to everyone.

Music selection is outstanding everyone is sweet and I like the fact we are allotted more time on the state of the art computers only draw back is closed on Sundays in the summer rule should be 90 and above open your doors for a cooling center some folks have no where to go oh did I mention the great music fantastic good as any professionals

My daughter and I love this library! The staff are amazing and always very helpful. The programs are fantastic too. Great place to spend a few hours to read awesome books, play some games and maybe attend one of their amazing programs. We are so lucky that this is our local library!
